LBO Gravure operates an industrial laser engraving workshop at our Contern site. Metal, wood, leather, plexiglass, anodised aluminium: each material has its constraints, and we have learned them through long practice. From the unique unit to small series, from the corporate plaque to event signage, we deliver clean and accurate work. No miracle delivered in two days: precision takes time, and we say so.

What we do not do
- No large-series printing (thousands of identical units — referral to specialised printers)
- No standalone laser cutting on materials we do not also engrave (referral to specialised cutters)
- No glass engraving (requires specific CO2 laser equipment — referral to specialised workshops)

What materials can you engrave?
Metals (brass, stainless steel, anodised aluminium, mild steel), wood (oak, beech, plywood, MDF), leather (full grain, split), plexiglass and most thermoplastics. Each material has its laser settings. We can test on your specific material before launching a series.
What is the minimum order quantity?
No minimum. We engrave the unit (a recognition plaque, a unique gift) as well as series of several hundred. Pricing logically declines with quantity. For runs in the thousands, traditional printing becomes more relevant and we refer accordingly.
What are the lead times?
5 to 10 business days for a standard file. 2 to 4 weeks for series involving raw material sourcing or external pre-cutting. We do not promise express timelines: laser precision and finish require attention.
Can you reproduce a logo from a JPG file?
It depends on the JPG. If the logo is large enough and clean, yes. Otherwise we need to redraw it in vector (Illustrator or equivalent), which adds a step. Ideal file: SVG, AI, EPS, or PDF in high definition.
How are colours rendered on metal?
Laser engraving on metal produces a contrast (most often black or grey on the natural metal). To obtain other colours, we work with anodised metals (already coloured before engraving) or with additional steps (filling with paint). We explain the available options based on your visual project.
Do you handle installation of engraved signage?
For local installations in Luxembourg, we coordinate with installer partners. For more distant installations, we deliver the items ready to install with mounting instructions and dimensional drawings.
